WHAT MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES
Garnai is a thoughtfully assembled community built around people with different backgrounds, passions, and perspectives who want to experience more of the world.
Membership creates opportunities to meet naturally, around tables, through travel, and in places worth exploring together. Some connections will last an evening. Others may last considerably longer.
Throughout the year, members receive invitations to Gatherings in New York and around the world.
Gatherings are intentionally varied and take on many different forms. They might range from an intimate evening at an artist’s home to an after-hours private dinner at a major cultural institution, our take on elevating a sporting event, or even a multi-day pop-up or collaboration.
Each offers access to places and people who give us a reason to come together.
Several times each year, we take our members somewhere worth traveling for.
Hosted Journeys bring a small handful of our members together around a place, person, or passion. Each is constructed with thoughtful hospitality, meaningful local connection, unusual access, and enough room for the unexpected.
Simply put, these are our friends opening up their private worlds to you, allowing you to experience a place in ways you otherwise wouldn't.
Every so often, we write privately to our members. A letter might bring word of an opening worthy of a night out, the latest edition of our Journal, something we've been reading and can't stop thinking about, or notes from a conversation that deserves a wider audience.
It's our perspective on the world informed by the people who live in it, the people we trust, and the Garnai community itself.
Private Travel is the most personal expression of your Garnai membership.
Every itinerary begins with a conversation between you and your Garnai Curator. Over time, we learn how you travel, what you care about, and what details make travel feel right for you. We then bring together trusted relationships, deep destination knowledge, and thoughtful hospitality to create travel that feels refreshingly unconventional.
Membership comes with your own dedicated Garnai Curator.
Drawing on deep experience in travel and hospitality, your Garnai Curator looks after your membership both at home and abroad. From thoughtfully selected invitations to being your single point of contact for all things related to Private Travel, they help make Garnai feel distinctly personal to you.
Think of them as the person within Garnai who knows you and makes sure you're always well looked after.
MEMBERSHIP ADMISSION
We’re intentional about how the Garnai community takes shape. Membership is considered individually, with an emphasis on the person. The community is better when different people bring genuine curiosity, perspective, and something of their own.
ACCEPTANCE & ONBOARDING
Once accepted, your membership begins immediately, with full access to your Garnai Curator, member recommendations and editorial, and registration for upcoming Gatherings and Hosted Journeys.
As new members join Garnai in small cohorts, you will then be welcomed through a signature Gathering designed to create a shared beginning and form your first connections.
